“ArcSoft announced three new imaging technology suites today at the 6Sight Future of Imaging conference in Monterey, CA. The PerfectPortrait Capture, LoLight Capture, and Panorama suites provide a set of automatic functions that improve portraits, low-light shots, and panoramas, respectively. The new technology suites are available to manufacturers for integration into hardware devices. For consumers, the announcement offers an advance look at features that can be expected to show up in cameras, camera phones, and even printers that offer automatic image enhancement during 2008. Companies that have used Arcsoft’s image-enhancement technology in their devices to date include Pentax, Kodak, Epson, Motorola, and General Imaging.” – Aimee Baldridge
