Short of going out and buying a camera and other accessories, there has to be a desire and action to move on that desire. Or, it’s possible you have a camera, but it’s lying unused somewhere in your house. You may bring it out, from time to time, whenever a family member asks you to [...]
The Wannabe Photographer – A Question of Someday
The Mediocre Photographer – A Question of Good Enough
Whether professional or amateur, the tasks are the same. Gather together the equipment, produce a shoot list, get the images, transfer the files to a computer with backup and edit. Each step in the process requires thought and effort. Each step demands your full attention and awareness of details.

[REVIEW:] Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II – Eolake Stobblehouse

Cataract Surgery
Update - March 5th: The left eye surgery is done and with remarkable results. I am having cataract surgery on March 4th (left eye) and March 25th (right eye). I'm lucky that my insurance covers 80% of the cost. I have to pay 20%. As I get closer, there are numerous tests and appointments that will take me off line from time to time, Also, I don't know how much news I'll be able to post while recuperating. but I'll post as much as I'm able to.
