“I’m of two minds about this book. If you are a casual shooter who takes pictures of family events and trips you might find this book useful. More serious photographers should look for something with more depth.” — Conrad J. Obregon

[REVIEW:] The Digital Shoebox: How to Organize, Find and Share Your Photos
[REVIEW:] Bento 3 – Michael Muchmore (PC Mag)
“Bento, Filemaker’s personal database software for the Mac, gets more useful with each release. Among the features in the version 3 are appealing new templates, integration with iPhoto, and improved sharing (though there’s still no way to send database files to other users). Users of Bento for iPhone can also now sync up with their [...]
[REVIEW:] OhGizmo! Review – AAXA Technologies P1 Pico Projector – Andrew Liszewski
“When you think about it, a video projector small enough to fit in your hand is one of those ‘best of both worlds’ ideas. You get the portability of a device like the iPhone, with the big-screen viewing experience of a projector. And while micro projectors have been promised for the past few years, it’s [...]

a phone. a camera. a book. an app – Joe McNally
“The best camera is the one you have with you. True words indeed. Variations on a theme. Jay Maisel always says it’s tough to take a picture if you don’t carry a camera with you. Now Jay sports a D3, but Chase Jarvis has just elevated the Iphone camera to legitimacy with this new book. [...]
Mystery Revealed! – Joe McNally
“First off, many, many thanks to all who pitched ideas and suggestions and diagrams our way. Response was off the charts, and we have had a blast going through stuff here at the studio. As always, it being a photographic dilemma, there were just about as many solutions as there are photogs. Cool thing was [...]

“The Church
As soon as you are in the church remember the guidelines the vicar has given you; check your camera settings in relation to the light, take stock for a second and quietly capture as much as you are allowed.
